Hello! My name is Sarah and I am the newly appointed Events Coordinator for the Post-Retirement Opportunities (PRO) project.
I have a background in arts management with a particular interest in community art, socially-engaged art, and the link between the arts and wellbeing. My previous roles range from coordinating a community singing project and running a family arts event, to organising university student placements and managing volunteers at an art gallery.
In my spare time, I love getting outdoors, exploring new places, doing arty things, and learning to look after the garden I have recently acquired!
I am looking forward to planning a series of fun and informative events in Bristol for people approaching retirement – details will be announced very soon!
