Thursday 20th June saw an evening full of people, music and delicious homemade Mexican food at Windmill Hill City Farm Café. Inspired by the Talking Tables cookery sessions, LinkAge Network’s partnership project with three of the city farms, A Feast with Talking Tables was a one-off event in celebration of food and age as part of this year’s Food Connections festival.
The evening was a great success and nearly 50 people sat down to enjoy tables filled with fresh food and chat the night away. We had a wonderful team of volunteers running the evening and keeping busy, from setting up the café, to prepping the food and waiting on, they certainly deserved the round of applause they received from the evening’s guests.
