LinkAge volunteer Margaret and our very own Henbury Community Development Worker Suewan Kemp went down to Spike Island in Bristol last week for a skill sharing day with BBC Radio Bristol.
BBC Radio Bristol had invited Mary and Suewan down for the day to share their New Age Kurling skills. There were lots of activities taking place on the day including sculpting, collage making, boules and laughter workshops. We had a great time showing people how much fun New Age Kurling is and we also enjoyed trying lots of new things too. Margaret tried collage making for the first time in her life and as you can see in the photo she made a beautiful picture – it just goes to show that it’s really never too late to learn a new skill!
