What a vibrant launch to the new Redcliffe hub! People came out in their dozens to the Redcliffe Wellbeing Day on Thursday 19th February! The Church Hall was buzzing with activity as local residents tried their hand at painting, and hips were wiggling and toes were tapping as the music pumped out from the Zumba. People had ago at Tai Chi and a seated exercise class, and when a group started singing in beautiful harmony from the scratch choir, people could hardly believe their ears!
A healthy lunch was provided by the Arc Café, and people were kept well refreshed throughout the day by a team of volunteers. Stall holders were on hand to answer questions and give advice on everything from hearing loss and dementia through to befriending and saving money on your bills. And for a lucky few they even got a foot treatment or a body massage!
“Thank you so much! I enjoyed every minute of the whole day! What a great thing for this community I can’t wait to join in all the activities.”
