LinkAge were thrilled to be invited to take part in a panel discussion on how do we support mental health as well as physical health on the Health Day, during the Festival of the Future City. The panel consisted of: Andreas Papadopoulos from AWP, Richard Kimberlee from the University West of England, Ellen Devine from Healthwatch Bristol, Aileen Edwards from Second Step and Claire Miller from LinkAge Bristol.
At the event, Claire Miller said, “It’s very easy to become ‘disconnected’ in today’s society….and with that can come a lack of; belonging, identity, purpose and peer support. At LinkAge we Reach out, Reconnect and Reactivate, and today I wanted to share local people’s perspective of how LinkAge supports their emotional health and outlook…”.
