A new weekly Intergenerational Peace Garden Project will be starting on Thursday 23rd March 2017.
The project which will be run in partnership with LinkAge, Earth Champions and Windmill Hill City Farm, will give younger people and over 55's the opportunity to work together to dream, design and create a Peace Garden.
The first three sessions include:
- Thursday 23rd March 2017, 1 – 3:30pm – Get to know each other, Peace Garden planning and garden tour
- Thursday 6th April 2017, 1 – 4pm – Landscape design, planting design and hands on gardening
- Thursday 13th April 2017, 1 – 4pm – Terrariums (build a garden in a jar) and hands on gardening
Future sessions will include woodwork, pizza making, a trip to Kew Gardens, floristry and more. Sessions are FREE and will take place at Windmill Hill City Farm, Philip Street, Bedminster, BS3 4EA. Refreshments will be provided.
