The afternoon with Lloyds Bank began with tea, cake and a talk by Rob Thompson (Assistant Bank Manager) on staying safe online and scam awareness. The 22 older people were then given a tour of Lloyds Bank and further information about the branch, which is one of the newest and largest in the UK.
Those who attended were invited to bring devices such as mobile phones, ipads and laptops and were given 1 to 1 support in using these by Lloyds Bank Staff. The afternoon then finished with a question and answer session with bank colleagues.
LinkAge participants Janet Bishop, Dennis Bishop and Jenny Biddle said, "We would like to thank you for organising the event at Lloyds Bank on Thursday 5th May.
