The Henbury & Brentry Hub had a celebratory Christmas meal at Toby Carvery on Monday 8th December. Crackers were pulled, cheesy jokes were read and fetching paper hats were worn. It was a lovely opportunity for people to sit down and catch up about the years activities, from New Age Kurling successes to Line Dancing Flash Mobs.
We enjoyed a superb Christmas Meal at The Rock, Lawrence Weston cooked by a fantastic team of volunteers. We are really looking forward to supporting The Rock community in the New Year.
Finally, the Shirehampton Hub had their Christmas Meal on Wednesday 17th December. This was cooked by Ricky, Russell, Sandra, Tracy and Laura. A big thank you to Sandra and Tracy for volunteering their help in the kitchen and a special thank you to John for our fantastic entertainment. The local Shire Hub also organised a fab fundraiser for guess the weight of the Christmas cake and also a raffle, raising £64.
