A report out this week by The Campaign to End Loneliness and Age UK, features LinkAge as a promising approach in reducing isolation and loneliness amongst older people. The report, Promising approaches to reducing loneliness and isolation in later life, raises concerns that the issue is becoming a major public health challenge. And unless urgent action is taken, the numbers expected to be affected by loneliness and isolation could increase to at least 1.5 million by 2028.

Getting 2015 off with a twirl, Monday 26th January will see the next tea dance take place in LinkAge’s Bedminster & Southville hub. A partnership with The Southville Community Development Association, the dance will take place at the Southville Centre from 3pm – 5pm, Monday 26th January.
