St Georges and LinkAge are delighted to announce a new opportunity for Linkage participants: free or low rate tickets for lunchtime concerts at St Georges.

Earlier this month The Park Centre held this years ‘Filwood Gets Fit’. LinkAge supported the week long event with Intergenerational Ping, Archery and Kurling.

On Thursday 9th July, 177 LinkAge participants, family and friends cruised their way around Flat and Steep Holm on the Balmoral to fundraise for LinkAge.

LinkAge Bedminster, Southville & Ashton held their annual Wellbeing Day on Wednesday 8th July. The event was free to attend and attracted good numbers of local residents as well as some who travelled a bit further. Good news obviously spreads far and wide!

Maisie Cats for Dementia, a community sewing project will be launching on Saturday 18th July with the aim of raising money to enhance the lives of people living with Dementia.

LinkAge and mobile phone operator EE have been working together over the past year to run techy tea parties for older people.
