On Tuesday 20th October around 150 health walkers came together from across Bristol to meet, walk and talk for the Walking for Health partnership walk ‘Out and About in Hengrove’.

On Tuesday 22nd October we celebrated an exciting new partnership with BHS, who have selected LinkAge as their local charity of the year. To launch the partnership we hosted a fundraising fashion show in the Broadmead branch of the store.
Bedminster has recently seen the launch of a new, relaxing, gentle exercise class… chair yoga! This new form of exercise has become increasingly popular with over 55s at LinkAge, with classes starting to be introduced across the city.
LinkAge and The Trinity Centres annual ‘Celebrate with Dance’, was once again a roaring success. Regulars could be seen dancing the afternoon away, with many new faces also enjoying the sounds of the local ‘Smokey River Band’.
Sunday 4th October saw the Gasworks Singers and Gasmen, come together to raise money for LinkAge, at the Parkway Methodist Church.

On Monday 12th October, LinkAge’s Ricky Bush and Lucy Saunders visited AXA PPP Healthcare’s offices to receive a cheque for £400.
