Stockwood held its annual taster day on Wednesday 25th May at the South Bristol Sports Centre and it was a great success, with over 50 local residents attending and trying their hands (and feet!) at an exciting range of potential new activities.

Earlier this month Community Development Worker Laura Burchett, joined the friendly Short Mat Bowls Club at Avonmouth Community Centre.

Shirehampton’s New Age Kurling shot off to a great start on Thursday 12th May. The first session saw plenty of laughter and comradery from both teams of men and women and a cheeky bit of competitiveness thrown in too.
