On Friday 17th July the Macmillan Prevention and Re-enablement project was officially launched at the University Hospital Bristols Training and Education Centre. One of the highlights was a film featuring some of the amazing older people who take part in LinkAge activities who either have cancer themselves or are caring for a cancer patient.
Macmillan Cancer Support and LinkAge have joined forces to help older people affected by Cancer in the Bristol area. Macmillan’s pledge of significant funding over the next three years will now enable LinkAge to offer more opportunities and support specifically tailored for those affected by Cancer.
