St Monica Trust's Community Befriending Scheme needs you!

The Community Befriending Scheme has been running in BS3 and BS14 for over 8 years and supports over 60's by providing regular companionship on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

Over the years the scheme has continued to grow with over 50 older people now matched with local volunteers.

Karen Bennett, Community Befriending Officer for the Scheme, is now looking for more volunteers to support local older people who are currently waiting for a Befriender. So if you are aged 18 years or over and live in the Bedminster, Southville, Stockwood or Whitchurch areas and have the gift of time to give to an older person, then we would really like to hear from you!
