Bedminsters Wellbeing Day will be taking place from 10am-2pm on Wednesday 8th July in the Tobacco Factory Cafe. The day will consist of several 'taster sessions' of different activities that people can try on the day, focused around things that improve mental and/or physical wellbeing.
Several taster sessions have been confirmed so far including Line Dancing and ‘Use it Or Lose It’, an exercise class for those unable to stand for long periods. ‘Use it or Lose It’ is an eclectic mix of strength, endurance and flexibility exercises, including seated Zumba. There will be several more taster sessions to be confirmed in the run up to the event.
There will also be Wellbeing advice & community information from a range of other organisations including Healthwatch, Well Aware, The Care Forum, Macmillan and West of England Care and Repair. And on the day there will also be delicious refreshments, cakes and lunches available from the Tobacco Factory Theatre Cafe so there really is no excuse for not making it down.
We look forward to seeing you there.
